Corruption starts at home

·

The other day Christa discovered one of the negative ways I have been subliminally influencing her and simultaneously corrupting our verbose 3 year old, Anna.   The technique I employ is to sing really bad (i.e. cheesy) songs from the 80s and 90s while doing various domestic activities.  Inevitably, these serenades often enter the bloodstream and contaminate the hearer without respect to age or gender.

My secret plot was discovered when Christa found herself singing lyrics from the lip-synching duo formerly known as Milli Vanilli.

Unconsciously, Christa began to sing, "Buh-buh-buh-buh-ba-by!…."

But before she could finish the next line, Anna heard her and chimed in with, "Don’t forget my number!"

It was beautiful!  When I heard that story it brought a tear to my eye…
