If you were to walk out from our apartment complex, cross the street (praying diligently as you did so), and head due southeast for 50 yards you might see this sight.
It’s the street that opens up onto the market. This is the place where Christa usually catches a "tuk-tuk" or motorized rickshaw and heads to Anna’s school for pickup.
As you can see in this picture, there are no tuk-tuks or rickshaws. But there is a motorcycle taxi-driver. He’s the one wearing the hard hat. I have not had the pleasure of using this form of transportation. Since my dad is a physical therapist I have a pretty high paranoia level regarding the dangers of motorcyle accidents. I also am not comfortable embracing the bosom or stomach area of another man. Call me narrow-minded if you will…
To the left of the motorcyle guys there is a table with a purple tablecloth. If you were a bit closer to this table you would notice the large slabs of meat on it. It’s a very appetizing sight, especially if you’re a vegetarian. Next time, we’ll zoom in on that for ya…no extra charge.
