This self portrait shows the steady decline I have suffered the past few days as our water has been shut off numerous times without warning.  Here’s a little news report to elucidate: 

Today, in the latest news regarding the downward spiral that some now refer to as the "radiator debacle", the water main in the Haiguan Duimian apartment complex was systematically destroyed.  Eye-witnesses claim the workers responsible seemed mystified in discovering that someone would actually bury water pipes below the earth under the concrete where they were ordered to dig.  Quick to rectify the situation, the responsible workers carefully roped off the dig area with something akin to colorful Christmas lights and proceeded to take their two hour lunch break…Meanwhile, waves of dischord swept through the apartment complex as hygiene-conscious Westerners developed nervous ticks and first-stage post-traumatic stress disorder.  Officials from the complex were not available for comment, but would have denied allegations that they hired the untrained work crew right off the street three days ago.
