We had a lot of fun at this restaurant that offered "western" and Tibetan cuisine. I enjoyed the yak momos (yak meat inside a steamed dumpling) and some conversations we had with some Tibetan monks.

Topics of conversation: the Dalai Lama; learning Tibetan phrases and teaching English phrases; the NBA and Yao Ming; and differences between the U.S. and China; among other things. We even played some cards and watched kung fu movies while we sipped buckets of green tea.

Warning: Banana pancakes at the High Land Restaurant look and taste suspiciously like a banana smashed inside a quesadilla. The apple pancakes were cooked in much the same fashion.  Hey, this isn’t IHOP, OK.
