…and speaking of fun

·

We had some fun today at the Renmin Gongyuanr (People’s Park).  It was a-buzz with activity so we did a little KFC picnic and enjoyed some of the sights and sounds of Xining.

  1. I’m not sure, but the naked king could be the story about the who loved to look good. And there came a taylor who told him he could make the best clothes and so he did. But in reality he pretended to make them and the people not to offen the king agreed with him not want to risk the kind getting mad. So he took the new cloths out to display them and a kid spoke out look the king has no clothes. I’m not sure how to explain the whole story, but you get the jift. I think it’s called the emperors new cloths. Sorry about the miss spelling, I don’t have spell check. MER

  2. PS I really like the picture quality and way it is designed in this new sight. Very well done. Much more organized.MER

  3. Thanks for the comments, Marie. You’re right. I didn’t think about him being The Emperor from The Emperor’s New Clothes. Probably because in all the “disney” versions I’ve read he is never really naked. He is usually wearing long underwear instead!

    Good observation.

I’m glad you like the new site better. I do too. It’s easier to use and presented better.

  4. This picture of the girls is absolutely adorable!!

  5. I was re visiting the blog sight and took a second look at the picture and was wondering if the water was coming from the girls ears of the fountain. haha
