A blog is almost too insignificant a place to honor your mom…but it’s all I’ve got.  On Mother’s Day I just wanted to say a few words to show how much I appreciate my mom. 

She birthed me, she cared for me, she encouraged me, she fed me, she clothed me, she prayed with me, she prayed for me, she never gave up on me, she played with me, she kept me healthy, she put up with me, she put me up, she laughed with me, she laughed at me, she taught me, she gave to me, she sacrificed for me, she fought for me, she worked for me, she moved me, she thought of me, she embraced me, she stabilized me, she sweat for me, she drove for me, she showed me, she treated me, she LOVED me!

And although I speak in the past tense many of these great things continue into the present…

A mother’s love…is a truly amazing thing.  I am so grateful for you, mom.  I hope your Mother’s Day is a joyful one EVEN THOUGH your kids are so far away!  I love you.
