I turn 33 today. That feels pretty old to me. If I live to be a 100 that means that I’ve just completed the first third of my life. Hmmmm, guess I should be thinking about what I want to do with the remaining two-thirds. I told Anna that Jesus probably died when he was 33. That’s not a very nice thing to say to your 5-year-old. I did mention to her that he arose from the dead though. That brightened her downcast expression. Maybe in the next third of my life I’ll work on that "maturity" thing some more.

Thanks, everyone. I had a great birthday. Christa and I will be having a “night away” this evening to celebrate further. It’s been good being “home” for my b-day this year.
