I am not one to complain.

OK, I am not one to complain without masking my grievances in cleverly-disguised, very witty anecdotes and Seinfield-reminiscent sarcasm.  As a foreigner here, it seems the only polite way to behave.  But I ran across this article this week and discovered that I’m not the only one who thinks this way about China!

At times, even the "locals" get frustrated (internally anyway) with living here!  This was such a breath of fresh air–reading Liu Qi’s "Seventeen Hates".  Granted this guy lives in Beijing and so he is probably very "westernized’ in his thinking, but he sums up the situation of civic responsibility perfectly.  To sum it up, Get irritated, but do nothing about it!
