Yesterday, Christa and I celebrated our seventh anniversary.  In the afternoon, we got some friends to look after the girls and we got some time to ourselves.

It was great.  Christa and I played some games–a pretty mean game of checkers.  I got destroyed (it’s been a while), but I took the loss well.  After that we went out into the city for a bit, hit the import store for some of our favorite snacks, and then bought a few new movies/TV series (Lost – Season 3, Heroes).

After our girls went to bed we watched a romantic comedy.  It was a very relaxing and enjoyable anniversary.

And today…bonus…I received a package from my friend Pete from Minnesota.  A box of coffee!  Thanks, Pete.  You are a gentleman, a scholar, and an all around good guy!  Please extend our gratitude to your family.
