confirmed kills!

Some sick people out there (who will remain nameless) have wanted to see pictures of these rats that I’ve been happy to have exterminated lately. In the spirit of Halloween, I will oblige this request with visual evidence. If you have a weak stomach DO NOT click on the link below. Believe me, it’s not too appetizing…

Kill #1

Technically, this was actually kill #3. The first was the small rodent who fell from the sky of our kitchen (that probably died of a heart attack.) Kill #2 occurred while we were away when an unfortunate rat got stuck to some "rat paper" I had placed carefully on the floor. Our house-helper had the misfortune of euthanizing that one with a stick. So technically, this would be kill #3. This was the one that I thought died of a "coke" overdose. That’s my size 10 foot to the right so you have some perspective on the Creature’s size.

Kill #4/#5? (The Pepperoni Slaughter)

This is a photo of my glorious (if a bit grotesque) victory over the legions of Nimh using the pepperoni as bait. I think it was Kill #5 since the smell in our bedroom when we returned to Thailand lead me to believe that another rodent (#4) had fallen unseen due to poison. You can tell by the size of this 10 fl ounces / 295 mL bottle of lotion that we are dealing with very "big-boned" rats here.

Those are some very healthy looking rats!! Holy smokes they’re huge! Much much bigger than the ones I’ve had in my house. I’m happy for you that you’re having some success in killing them!

to the nimh warriors: you talk pretty tough from the innocuous confines of the local internet cafe. but i’ve seen little sign of your so-called “revolution” lately in my kitchen and living space. but should you decide to show your beady little eyes again, just remember the irresistible and deadly power of the pepperoni…and bring it ON! we’ll be waiting…
