blogged out

ยท

I’ve been so bored by the "art" of blogging lately (both reading and writing them) that I decided to go with a "I’m putting myself to sleep" design theme.  I find it quite soothing…

Honestly, I was sorely tempted this week to just hit the [Delete Blog] button and rid myself of the whole endeavor, but in a moment of weakness I talked myself out of it.  Vices are a terrible thing.

Maybe I can redirect these destructive impulses into a personal renaissance of creative inspiration.  Or maybe I should just use my time building my own "self destruct" button like the one shown here…

Decisions, decisions.

Hi there Todd, Christa and Anna and Sara
I really relate to your Christian Brat and Spelunking articles. We seem to be here to learn as much as we are here to help out. Loved having time with Marie and her friend Krista. They both helped out by cooking for the friends from Maple Ridge.

In the long run though, it really is all about you. Heyseuss loves YOU!
    Love Ya lots,
    Aunt Lorraine

  2. Todd you gotta go with where your heart leads. I look forward to your blogs, but I also know that sometimes you just gotta change things. I can’t answer that. But I am a great follower of yours. But, what ever you decide I am with you. MER

  3. Hi Todd (and family),
We LOVE your blog. If you can’t think of anything to blog about, how about old fashioned journaling – what you did and what you ate or what the girls did and ate. It may seem mundane to you, but it would probably be interesting to us. We’d even like to know the weather. ๐Ÿ™‚
    With God’s love,
    Beth (and Jim)

  4. I enjoy your blog (despite not visiting that much recently), but I would also understand if you dropped it. Actually, I am glad Facebook is out there, because I can keep in touch with people and post articles and comments I find interesting. It kinda sorta fills the desire to blog without the expected commitment.

By the way, I bought 77’s album 88. It’s this amazing live album before Drowing with Land in Sight or Pray Naked. It’s one of the best live albums I’ve heard. If you don’t have it, I could send you a copy…or…ahem…purchase a new one…la la laaa.

  5. thanks for all the positive feedback, everyone. it’s good to hear from each of you. the blog isn’t quite DEAD just yet so don’t be too alarmed. (not that any sleep would have been lost I’m sure ๐Ÿ™‚ we’ll see if i get a spark of inspiration or not. either way, i’ll likely always post pictures of the girls and give those kinds of updates.
