Well, San Clemente Beach, California is only two hours south (approx.)…by plane.  We had a business trip* down there over the weekend.  It was an amazing time.  We got a few hours on the beach Saturday afternoon.  (I love beaches.  It's in my blood or something.) 

The girls really enjoyed it.  Christa and I didn't complain too much about it either.  The coolest part was reconnecting with some folks who work closely with us in China.  It was nice to see them in their own environment for a change.




Don't make fun of my wetsuit.  That water was already a bit cold.  Just ask Anna and Sarah.

*For those of you who know us well, you already know about our line of work and what these trips involve.  For those of you who may be less clear, just shoot me an email and I will be glad to clarify what I mean by a business trip. As good as blogs are for communication, they often don't paint a full picture of a person's life and work.  Mine is always especially vague.  Just thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone has been out there scratching their head in confusion muttering, "When do these guys ever work?"
