I was just about to write a post whining about how Sarah would not let me pull a very loose tooth she had in the front (bringing the total missing to 2!) While I was typing that post up, she told me that I could pull her tooth.
Ah, permission granted.
I was washing my hands, getting quite excited that she was going to actually, FINALLY, let me pull the wobbler out, when I noticed that the tooth in question was already sitting on her lip–completely unconnected to her gum. A second later she noticed this as well.
Crumbs. Missed opportunity!
So, it looks like she can sing the Christmas favorite, "All I Want For Christmas…" with some credibility, while I must bide my time and wait for the next one to get loosened up.
On another note, all I want for Christmas is to finish this never-ending first draft of mine. I'm currently up to 60,000 words, but I think I still have a ways to go in finishing the story. Oh well, I'll get there when I get there. And even then I'll have a lot of revising ahead of me.
