Yesterday evening, on Anna's birthday it snowed for the first time this winter season.  It kept snowing during the early morning hours and we woke up to a few inches blanketing the yard and mounting up in the evergreens surrounding our house.  It was beautiful and we were glad it was a Sunday so we could enjoy it.

Anna's Santa Lucia party yesterday was also a great success.  She looked beautiful, was a gracious host and gift receiver, and has surrounded herself with some very cute, very kind friends that complement her very well.  I felt a wee bit outnumbered being the only male in a house full of about ten females, but it was worth it to see Anna have such a great time.  She's growing up so fast.
