Well, the “blizzard” has officially begun here in the greater Seattle area.  We are supposed to have blizzardous conditions for the next 24 hours, with high winds, snow, and freezing rains.  We’ve stocked up on supplies.  Hopefully we will not lose power since we have an electric-powered furnace.  (We can always hike to the in-laws if we need warmth since they have a fireplace.)

In other news, this is a photo of Anna’s Christmas letter (in the shape of a christmas tree / cross??) to Santa Claus:

I was super impressed with this.  It has to be the coolest letter to Santa Claus EVER written.  (Period.)
