I almost decided to pass on reviewing this film because Nicolas Cage is barely in it, and he is mostly a CGI version of himself with no lines. But it feels like I would not be completing my WATC(H) journey without at least acknowledging that yes, in fact, I did watch this film, and yes, there is at least a nod to Nicolas Cage as Superman.

The Flash (2023), as a film, is kind of a hot mess, unless you are true die hard DC universe fan, and even so you’ll probably want to check out The Justice League or one of the many other DC films before watching this one. It’s just kinda meh.
