  • This tree was so impressive, the photo doesn’t do it justice.  It was enormous.  The twisting vine spiralled down to another part of the tree and up to some of the highest branches.  You can barely get perspective of how large the monster is from my weak attempt to photo it.

  • We’re getting our exercise here, even with all the public transport.  Most streets and sidewalks are not wide enough to accommodate our double stroller.  We found that out the hard way.  We anticipated we would not be able to use our double-stroller at our final destination, but it would be nice if we were able…

  • This is another photo that just doesn’t do justice to the massive size of something God created.  This palm branch was enormous.  I couldn’t believe that it grew in this fashion, i.e. like a fan.

  • Based on the various items that I’ve posted on this weblog, it may appear as if our time in Singapore is mainly about eating, sight-seeing, swimming, experimenting with public transit and relaxing!  But that is not really the whole picture… I think it’s hard for me to get motivated to take pictures during our lecture…

  • It’s only been two weeks and we were already craving pizza…so we gave in to the urge and hit the western food court on Orchard Road.
