My biggest fear on this trip was that perhaps while I was on my way to the outhouse or otherwise minding my own business the chains holding this ferocious mastiff at bay would weaken to the point it would tear free.  This dog was Cujo times 10!  His bark was probably worse than his bite, but I would never EVER want to test that theory out.  Thankfully, he stopped his otherwise perpetually barking  from roughly 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.  I slept pretty well as a result.

The chains held as well; so no yeti was needlessly mauled during the making of this trip.
