p.s. Regarding beach reading…I made a bit of a mental error with Hornby’s About a Boy.  Some of you probably caught that, but were too polite to mention it.  I’ve even seen the movie and I forgot about the fact that the entire story hinges on a suicide attempt and the death of Kurt Cobain!  Oops.  You can’t win’em all, but at least it was a humorous novel (in a black humor sort-of-way).
